Physician Achievement Report (PAR):
Our members should expect a prompt and courteous appointment process, a respectful, informative physician who is up to date and communicates openly with their patients and caregivers, as well as receive timely test results and patient callbacks.
THIPA’s doctors are measured on all of these criteria: patient access to the doctor, patient satisfaction and physician clinical skill. It is our goal is to help our physicians practice excellent medicine.
Electronic Health Records: The Future of Healthcare Communication:
Very soon, the health records of THIPA members will be computerized and located in one central database. What this means is more efficient, safer medical care and increased communication between THIPA physicians.
THIPA is the only medical group in the South Bay to have an Electronic Health Records (EHR) system. Having an EHR system means that whenever you go to see a THIPA physician, he or she will be able to instantly access your medical conditions, test results and medications.
Over a year ago, THIPA formed its first Senior Advisory Board. After performing two focus groups, nine THIPA seniors (65+ years old) were selected to participate in the first THIPA Senior Advisory Board. These seniors guide THIPA’s efforts to educate, increase communication and improve the quality and care of its 65+ membership. Many take an active role in all of THIPA’s senior events, such as the “Forever Young” Seminars, “Turning 65” Medicare / Medicare Advantage information programs and the production of our Senior Living Newsletter.

Member Services Team:
